M on the Lake is situated in the picturesque lake village of Argegno, on the sunny west side of Lake Como. This west shore has a particularly mild climate and one of the prettiest promenades of the entire lake.
The apartment is the ground floor and basement of a three-story property, built on the mountain slope below Via Schignano, nestled up against the stone. In Argegno village the alley ways are narrow and winding. One of these, Via Garibaldi, leads from the village up to Via Schignano. The apartment is furnished with an Asian/Italian fusion. Furnishings are lacquered powder red, olive black and chocolate brown. Wardrobes are tapered cabinet style, and the apartment is littered with Asian fabrics and silk rugs together with unique antiques from China, Indonesia and beyond. There is a bright kitchen-living room with access to the terrace, a master bedroom (off the kitchen) small center bedroom and 3rd bedroom with access to the village side terrace.
